Today my student and stakee bought his freedom as he has won enough cash to have a 50NL roll of his own. I'm proud of his success, and picked up $414.83 USD in staking profits for my trouble. On that note, I don't think I'll ever be able to invest in the stock market because even an exceptional ROI there is painfully insignificant relative to the poker endeavors I'm used to.
Unfortunately I finally succumbed to the cold I had been valiantly fighting off the past week, and because of the nastiness my volume dipped between Sunday and Tuesday. I definitely am also feeling a little burned out - it's just tough not taking days off. On the plus side, I'm getting ever closer to the 50% mark and the bonus 100k VPPs (10% of SNE) I'll receive for playing the WSOP ME will be awesome. I've already purchased the ME Package from PokerStars, now all I have to do is withdraw the cash and buy myself into the tourney (as Stars cannot buy players in directly). Included in the package is a suite at the Palms from the 2nd through the 10th of July.
