We're back from Hawaii and today was my first day back at the grind. Ran kind of poorly but whatever. The last few days in Hawaii were great. We attended my friend Carol's wedding which was very well done, the highlight of the night had the be the lighting of traditional Chinese paper lanters and launching them out to sea. I'm amazed that the Hilton at Waikoloa allowed this, as we had several lanterns make contact with trees/bushes/grass posing a pretty significant fire hazard (though the ones my girlfriend and I sent off were executed flawlessly and zoomed into the distant ocean).
The bus tour that missed us the first time around ended up being an informative trip that I enjoyed, though the twelve hour duration did make for a long day. On the last day of our stay we toured the OceanRider Seahorse Farm, and got to handle a seahorse which was lots of fun. It is truly amazing how small newborn seahorses are.
On the hockey side of things, I'm hoping the Kings manage to knock off the Devils in the Stanley Cup Final for Darryl Sutter's sake. He may not have been the best GM (though his trade to bring in Kiprusoff is one of the top three trades in Flames history for sure), but he was a hell of a coach and did a lot for the Flames franchise.
As we received the game for free, the girlfriend and I are giving Diablo 3 a run. It's pretty much what I expected so far, which is neither here nor there. It isn't particularly my style of game, but Blizzard quality makes it near impossible for it to not be enjoyable and worth the time.

What are your top 5 PC and PSP games, with reasons?
Also, do you prefer a certain genre of game and does it help with poker?
I prefer RPGs (particularly jRPGs) for my console/handheld gaming, and play mostly MMORPGs on PC.
I don't think gaming helps much with poker unless you are playing at such a high level you are constantly applying game theory to exploit the actions and tendencies of your opponents. Very skilled Starcraft players often have an affinity for poker (and vice versa) for this reason.
I'm going to pass on listing a top 5 PC games, because I really don't know how to compare a game like Everquest to a game like Starcraft. I'll give the PSP list a shot though because they'll all be jRPGs. As a warning, several entries on the list will be remakes because some of the greatest games of all time have been remade for the PSP.
1. Persona 3 Portable
A second remake of what I consider to be the best game of the PS2 generation.
2. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
A remake of the greatest tactical RPG ever made. FFT really needed to be rereleased in North America due to its terrible translation the first time around on the PS1, and the PSP version rectifies this issue.
3. Ys Seven
The best action RPG I've played since the 16 bit era. Does everything well.
4. Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
Just an enjoyable all around jRPG. Unfortunately it looks like we may not see the second and third parts of the trilogy released in North America.
5. Final Fantasy 4 Complete Collection
A collection of remakes. FF4 has been rereleased more times than just about any other RPG, probably for a reason. With the addition of a remake of "The After Years", there's just a whole lot of good stuff in this package.
A few honorable mentions to the list above since the PSP has had such a strong library of RPGs:
Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (remake)
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (remake)
Jeanne D'Arc
Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core
Persona 2: Innocent Sin (remake)
