Epic ending to the second round of the Battle of Alberta tonight. A Bouwmeester point shot with 1.5s left (and Kipper on the bench, obviously) gets deflected by Rene Bourque to tie and send the game to OT. Flames later win the shootout to maintain an undefeated record through four games so far this season. Awesome.
Poker today was pretty good, ended +$771 off the tables, with the bulk of the profit coming at 400nl and 200nl, despite the majority of the hands being played at 100nl.
I'll post one semi interesting hand below.
Villain in this hand is a bad FPP pro reg who is capable of getting out of line occasionally. I called the river c/r because I really didn't think he'd check the river with 44 or 66. The more I think about this hand the more I don't really like the call that much, but luckily I ended up being good. I hate his c/r bluff because given his image and mine I can have AQ/AA a lot. My check behind on the turn is pretty standard as he's nitty postflop and I have a very nitty image.
